FounderRick Woodard
Rick founded Woodard Insurance Agency in 2007 after beginning his healthcare career at Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina in 1996, where he managed a regional Tricare contract processing 36,000 daily claims for military members. He spent over 13 years on the Florence City Council and holds a B.S.B.A. in Decision Science from East Carolina University. Rick's three decades of carrier relationships and public sector experience remain a driving force behind WIA's negotiating strength. He served on the Agent Advisory Council with BCBS of SC since 2010.
